Carolee Bivins Ford
Nov 2, 1956 - Nov 27, 2024
Carolee Bivins was born in Galveston, Texas on November 2, 1956, the fourth of six children to Harlee and Mildred Limbrick. Carolee attended
school in Galveston before her family relocated to Houston, Texas. She continued her education in the Houston Independent School District, attending Carnegie Elementary School, Woodson Junior High,
and graduating from Evan E. Worthing Senior High School in 1975. She attended Prairie View A&M University from 1975–1977, majoring in Education.
Carolee’s Christian journey began at an early age, when
she accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of her life at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and served as a junior usher. She would later become a member of Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. J. J. Robertson. Carolee married her high school sweetheart, Brent
Raynor, and they were blessed with two sons, Brian and Brenton Raynor. While her marriage to Brent would end, they maintained a good relationship, and she loved her sons deeply & unconditionally.
Carolee began her career as a start-up technician for a
chemical plant. Four years later, this working mother joined another new chemical refinery company, where she found professional success as a quality control laboratory analyst for 19 years. At God’s direction and a series of life events, a mutual
friend reconnected Carolee to a man she had met 10 years earlier, Collice Ford, and they would marry on October 14, 2004. Carolee and Collice relocated to Dallas, Texas and lived there for four years. While in Dallas, Carolee had the opportunity to attend Bible
Study Fellowship (BSF), and this experience brought
depth and meaning to her understanding of God’s
Word. It also taught Carolee an awareness of selfcontrol to maintain balanced emotions. Her studies served as a reminder of scripture that calls one to be slow to anger and to love as Christ loves His people.
Carolee and Collice relocated back to Houston, where
she was employed by another chemical corporation
for 10 years. They joined Wheeler Avenue Baptist
Church in September 2012, under the leadership of Dr. Marcus D. Cosby, where she was an active member of the Courtesy Corps, Faith & Works Sunday School class, and faithfully supported the First Touch Ministry. Carolee made a point of inviting friends and
family to join her at worship and Bible study. After retirement, Carolee was a collaborating author of a book entitled, “Overcomers: Next Level Living,” and in September 2024, she was inducted into the
Women’s International Association of Juliana King
University. She also previously served as a member of the Worthing High School Class of 1975 reunion committee. Carolee had a great sense of humor, and she enjoyed water aerobics and fun social events. She loved her family, especially her sons, granddaughters
and siblings—wanting to see them all thrive. The theme

Mechelle Denise
LaBeaux-Moye
May 20, 1964 - Sept 14, 2025
Mechelle Denise LaBeaux-Moye was born May 20, 1964, in Beaumont, Texas, to the late Larry Earl LaBeaux Sr. and Sally Sigur LaBeaux. She has always been a sweet-spirited person, and her infectious smile always warmed your heart and made you feel welcome.
To many she was Mechelle. Growing up she was Beaux, for those nice bowlegs. But to all she was a living embodiment of love. Raised in the Pear Orchard community, she rooted her life in faith, family, and care for others. She is a proud panther alum of Hebert High School, class of 1982. Mechelle relocated to Plano, TX, where she dedicated her career to Allen Independent School District - Transportation Department - faithfully and safely driving students to and from school. She loved all her students and treated them as if they were her own. Mechelle took pride in holding a Commercial Driver’s License and maintaining a clean driving record, receiving numerous awards, certificates and plaques. You could not pay her to violate traffic laws. She would say “Oh no I have a CDL.”
In 1983, she married her high school sweetheart, Leslie H. Perkins, Jr. and to that union two children were born, Kimberly and Leslie III. At the conclusion of that relationship, she later met Fabian T. Moye, Sr. and the two became one in 1991 and together they shared over thirty years of love, raising one son, Fabian T. Moye, Jr. As a mother and devoted wife, she was nurturing, protective, and endlessly giving.
Becoming a “MeMe” was one of her greatest roles next to whipping Bus 95 and Eagle 1 (18-wheeler), like no one else. She was extremely happy behind the wheel of Eagle 1. She also enjoyed spending time with family, trying new restaurants, traveling and going to the casino. But most of all, spending quiet time with our Lord and Savior.
On Sunday, September 14, 2025, God called Mechelle home. Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in knowing that her love remains in the resilience of her husband, the strength of her children, the laughter of her grandchildren, and in the countless lives she touched with so much love and care. Mechelle L. Moye lived not for herself, but for others -- always giving, always nurturing, always uplifting everyone around her. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, sister, sister-in-love, friend, and blessing to all who knew her. Her joyful presence will be missed.
Her life was a testimony of God’s grace and a reminder of what it means to love with your full heart. Though she rests now in God’s eternal care, her spirit will continue to guide us, reminding us that love is the most sacred gift and the most enduring legacy of all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Larry Earl LaBeaux, Sr. and Sally Sigur LaBeaux, her brother Brian K. LaBeaux and two sets of twin grandsons, Joseph II & Joshua and Josiah & Joseph Landry, Jr.
To cherish her memory she leaves her husband, Fabian T. Moye, Sr.; daughter Kimberly P. Landry, Beaumont; her sons, Leslie H. Perkins, III (Rayya) Plano, Fabian T.
